A whole bunch of songs that were popular picks back in the day.
The goal of this pack is broadly to cover most of the songs people would remember playing in the Max 1, Max 2, Extreme, and Supernova 1 days, to wit:
* Songs that people would remember playing on a DDR Extreme or Supernova 1 arcade cabinet.
* Songs that people would remember playing on the console versions of Max 1 and Max 2.
Initially, this pack had 100 songs, but has since gained +25 in version 1.1 in March 2023, and another +25 in version 1.2 in August 2024.
Some of these songs have edits written by me.

What specifically is new to 1.2?
* Better representation for Supernova 1. This was achieved by including 12 new songs from it: AA, Centerfold, Dragon Blade, Drivin', Golden Sky, La Bamba, Love is Orange, Moon, Murmur Twins, Peace, Red Zone, and Wookie Wookie.
* Better representation of Max 2, mostly by including more songs that were console-exclusive at the time, though some are just songs that definitely should have been in here from the beginning; new songs include A Little Bit of Ecstasy, Celebrate Nite, Forever Sunshine, Heaven, In the Navy '99, Rain of Sorrow, Tomorrow Perfume, and Vanity Angel.

A whole bunch of songs that were popular picks back in the day.
The goal of this pack is broadly to cover most of the songs people would remember playing in the Max 1, Max 2, Extreme, and Supernova 1 days, to wit:
* Songs that people would remember playing on a DDR Extreme or Supernova 1 arcade cabinet.
* Songs that people would remember playing on the console versions of Max 1 and Max 2.
Initially, this pack had 100 songs, but has since gained +25 in version 1.1 in March 2023, and another +25 in version 1.2 in August 2024.
Some of these songs have edits written by me.

What specifically is new to 1.2?
* Better representation for Supernova 1. This was achieved by including 12 new songs from it: AA, Centerfold, Dragon Blade, Drivin', Golden Sky, La Bamba, Love is Orange, Moon, Murmur Twins, Peace, Red Zone, and Wookie Wookie.
* Better representation of Max 2, mostly by including more songs that were console-exclusive at the time, though some are just songs that definitely should have been in here from the beginning; new songs include A Little Bit of Ecstasy, Celebrate Nite, Forever Sunshine, Heaven, In the Navy '99, Rain of Sorrow, Tomorrow Perfume, and Vanity Angel.

Although I would love to offer lots of other options, unfortunately, many solid and reputable simfile websites such as DivinElegy, R21Freak, Houkouonchi, and even StepMania Online have all in some manner or other died since the inception of this website. (Although SMO's database's front page can still be looked at, you still have to know the exact name of what you're looking for to find anything that isn't on the front page, so it doesn't work at all for trying to just poke around to see what you can find.)
