Welcome!

Who Am I?
I'm a currently-retired stepartist (you can read about that below),
but am also a variety streamer on Twitch with my own Discord server.

What's This Website?
A place where I stick all my simfiles, as well as those of
others whose work I enjoy.

Want to Get in Touch?
You can check out my Twitch channel here,
or join my Discord server over there on the right.

Are you totally new to StepMania and need to get yourself started?
It's best to check out the StepMania Stuff page to get the game itself first.
It would then do you well to visit the How-To Page to learn how arrow-based rhythm games work.

I am currently retired as a stepartist.
I retired on August 15th, 2021; you can view my retirement statement here.
I obviously won't be personally producing any new material so long as I remain retired.
(The website may still see other updates if I feel they're necessary.)
If enough demand is made, I will un-retire and start producing simfiles again.
If you want to let me know you'd like me to return, the best way is to get in touch with me on Discord.

Special Notes About Zenius Downloads
Although Zenius is fantastic for acting as an archive (the primary reason I'm uploading there), it has very strict limits on file types and sizes.

* Pack banners on Zenius must be DDR standard 256x80.  This is not the resolution I use, which is ITG standard 418x164, but I had to make Zenius pack banners, or there wouldn't be pack banners there.

* Due to file type/size constraints, some nonessential files such as videos/BGs may be missing entirely from the Zenius version of my packs.  I'm not resizing a bazillion things for them.

For these reasons, I don't generally recommend downloading my packs from Zenius unless you've got awful internet and/or don't care if you don't get everything.

News

January 29, 2023
* [Uploads] Uploaded the Picks packs replacements.
* [Uploads] Added Valex packs 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 to the "Others' Simfiles" page.

January 27, 2023
* [Fix] Fixed the freaking Discord widget.  I had no clue I had to turn it on from the server.  Kinda hard for you to tell me you want me back if I'm not even correctly giving you the means of doing so, eh?
* [Uploads] Added R21 Twins to the "Others' Simfiles" page.

January 26, 2023
* [Uploads] The following packs have been added to the "Others' Simfiles" page:
* R21 12-Pack
* R21Freak: Bringin' It Back
* Cinderella Girls Starlight Dancefloor 2
* Touhou Pad Pack 8: Sakura Dream Sensation

* [Notes]
Yes I'm still around.  For those who haven't caught wind of it, I'm willing to un-retire and start charting again if I get some people telling me they want more from me.  I've got a whole list of songs I would chart for pack 21, if I'm given some motivation, but thus far, I've not received any yet.
*
[Notes] Since I uploaded the R21 12-Pack and R21Freak: Bringin' It Back, I will have to re-upload the Picks packs at some point, as there were songs from those packs that I selected for the Picks packs.  That won't be today though; I've had other things to do lately and just don't have the time right this very moment.

September 20, 2021
* [Fix] Changed sharing permissions on the Google Drive link for pack 20.  Not sure how that ended up not having proper sharing permission; it does now.

September 10, 2021
Yes I'm still retired, but I can't just sit idly by when I know my pack releases have stuff in them that must be fixed; such things must be fixed for the sake of anyone discovering my work down the line.
* [Fix] Pack 20 has received mandatory fixes.  Two things were wrong:
-> "Ring! Dong! Dang!" had an extra arrow in the middle of a 16th run on Expert, creating a jump that was not supposed to be there.
-> "Lonely Storm" gained a necessary Display BPM.
* [Fix] The Archives pack and the starter bundles are updated.  Unfortunately, both of the above songs were in the Archives pack, and thus also the with-songs starter bundle, so those had to be re-uploaded as well.

August 15, 2021
* [Info] I have retired as a stepartist.
I explain all my reasons thoroughly in my retirement announcement here.  While I suppose technically anything is possible, as I write this sentence, I don't presently see myself coming back from retirement.  This site is likely to see no further updates past today.
* [Update] The starter bundles have been updated.
* [Update] The PrismRhythm theme has been updated to version 17.

* [Update] The Volume 20 iteration of the Archives pack is available.
* [Release] The Volume 20 iteration of my Singles pack, now called "Memoirs," is released.

* [Release] Volume 20: "Memes, Dreams, and Electric Guitars" is released.

February 12, 2021
* [Update] The starter bundles are updated to correctly include AI.ini.  No other changes were made to the bundles; they still otherwise include exactly what they did before the fix.

February 11, 2021
* [Fix] Apparently, I forgot something in the starter bundles: the CPU player AI file (AI.ini), which the game needs for the demo loop and CPU auto-play as much as it needs it for Battle Mode.  The file is separately available on the StepMania Stuff page.  I'll re-upload the starter bundles as wholes later in the next few days.

December 8, 2020
* [Update] The starter bundles have both been updated.
* [Release] The Volume 19 iteration of the Archives pack is now available.  Naturally, this means it has some songs from pack 19 in it.

December 1, 2020
* [Release] Volume 19: The Gospel of Rhythm is released!
As usual, please give a few days to a week or so for me to make Archives pack decisions; whenever that happens, you'll know, 'cause the Archives pack and the Starter Bundles will all get updated and I'll announce it.

November 20, 2020
* [Update] Pack 18 has been updated to include all of its content, which means the primary pack download now has:
-> Tech Lab <DLC Song>
-> a fix for Step! <audio file was wonky>
The new download is marked as having these things.  (I actually remembered to update the My Simfiles page links this time too!)
* [Release] The PrismRhythm 16 theme is released; see the StepMania Stuff page. (Note that the full starter bundles still come with 15-RT; they will be updated to version 16 once pack 19 is done and the Archives pack gets updated.)

September 27, 2020
* [Info] Pack 19 is ready for charting!  If you love my work, track progress here.  Some of the work may happen on my Twitch channel on-stream (see above - directly below the site banner - for the link to my channel).

Update (September 8, 2020)
* [Info] I know what the news item below says.  (I wrote it, I was there at the time, and it was accurate to how I felt at said time.)  Since that time, I have discovered that I have both fans that I didn't realize I had, and ideas, too.  So I want you to know that pack 19 will be a reality, and I'm putting together the song list.  I don't usually announce a new pack will exist before I have a solid idea what it's going to be like, but I wanted this info out there to clear the air.  So yeah, details will be forthcoming once I have any real clue myself what all will be in the pack and thus what its theme and name may be.
* [Fix] Pack 15 links on the My Simfiles page have been fixed (evidently, I forgot to update them when I put out the Definitive Edition of the pack).  The main page links were still working; I need to start remembering to actually update links in places that aren't the front page.

Special Statement (July 20, 2020)
* [Info] Just so you know, this could be the last update for a very long time, if ever.  I want to be transparent and concise about the reasoning.  It has nothing to do with the Mega ban.  And, although my work certainly hasn't been very popular outside the few people in my own little community who care, that's only part of it (and no longer even the biggest part), not the whole story.  Mostly, it's actually that for the last few packs, I've slowly been running out of ideas for songs I want to attempt to chart, and now I'm actually pretty much out.  Even if I suddenly got really popular and could see it was an obviously good idea to make a 19th pack, sitting here today as things are, I would not know what to tell huge fans.  I absolutely want this much to be very clear: I still love this game, and I still want to chart.  But I'm practically out of stuff I know I want to chart, and I have, as far as I'm aware, mostly been charting for a very small subset of people all this time, so I don't have the motivation I used to.  So, is this a retirement statement?  Could be, I don't know - It's always impossible to know for sure at the time.  I wasn't sure when pack 17 was done, either, but I wasn't out of ideas then.  I am now.  So it's possible.  As with anything you love, there's no way to know for sure until you wake up one day and go "gee, I haven't done this in a very long while."  So could pack 19 eventually be a reality?  Perhaps.  If I get some notable traction with people who really want me to chart and I figure out some new ideas, anything's possible.  Maybe we are fated to cross paths again - or perhaps fated not to.  We'll see what RNG life tosses at me.
